Congratulations to WIMR’s Professor Natasha Rogers who was recently awarded the Ian McKenzie Award for Outstanding Contribution in Transplantation at the recent Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand annual scientific meeting.
The award recognises researchers who have demonstrated excellence and exceptional contribution in the field of transplantation.
Professor Rogers is Co-Director of WIMR’s Centre for Transplant and Renal Research and leads the Kidney Injury Research Group.
She is also a Senior Staff Specialist in Nephrology at Westmead Hospital and is Head of Transplantation and Director of the Clinical Islet Transplant Program. Professor Rogers is also a conjoint Professor at the University of Sydney, where she is an NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow.
