The Association of Australian Medical Research Institutes (AAMRI)
WIMR is an active member of the Association of Australian Medical Research Institutes (AAMRI), a key body championing the health and medical research sector in Australia. It supports medical research institutes like WIMR through advocacy, information sharing, and fostering collaboration. The Westmead Research Hub

As the host of many core facilities and a center for leading scientific expertise, WIMR plays a pivotal role in supporting the Hub’s mission to establish Westmead as a global leader in medical research. The ANZ Council for the Care of Animals in Research & Teaching
WIMR is a signatory to the Australian & New Zealand Council for the Care of Animals in Research and Teaching (ANZCCART) Openness Agreement, reaffirming our commitment to transparency and accountability in the use of animals in research and teaching. By aligning with the Agreement's four key commitments, WIMR demonstrates its dedication to fostering public understanding and trust in our work.
