Centre for Vision Research

Led by Professor Andrew White, the Centre for Vision Research has a number of groups with dedicated researchers and students working tirelessly towards achieving the following goals: gain a better understanding of the causes and risk factors for different eye diseases. This knowledge is essential for developing effective prevention strategies and identifying individuals at risk. Develop new and innovative diagnostic tools and treatments. Early detection and intervention can significantly improve outcomes for patients with eye diseases. Improve access to quality eye care for all. This includes ensuring that people in underserved communities have access to the care they need to maintain healthy vision.
