Carla Haroutonian

Biography

Carla Haroutonian completed a Bachelor of Psychology from Macquarie University, Honours (First Class) from The University of Sunshine Coast, and a PhD (Psychology) at The University of Sydney. Her PhD focused on relationship between sleep neurophysiology (EEG), memory and brain function in older adults with mild cognitive impairment. Her work since has focused on sleep, neurobiological functioning and early life trauma in severe mental illness. She is part of the Steering Committee Mental Health Australia General Clinical Trial Network (MAGNET), Australasian Sleep Association and Society for Mental Health Research.
